The author, Christopher Baker is a journalist/photographer and there are some nice photos, but primarily the book is an account of his ride around all the major towns of Cuba on his BMW motorcycle in 1996. It's just fun to read. Also, I was floored to find out that he stayed at the same casa as me in Vedado-Jorge Potts (he calls this his 'Havana Home').

In 1994, he explored Pinar Del Rio with travel photographer Jan Butchofsky-Houser. Baker is just a fantastic writer, and 'Mi Moto Fidel' is full of interesting history and stories of his experiences. I highly recommend it.
